Product Management Intern

Founded in 2012, Sideqik’s platform provides data analysis to help provide context to brand marketers around their market, competition, and consumers. Sideqik’s influencer marketing analytics empower brands to discover new influencers, manage the relationships with influencers they already have, and measure the results of carefully crafted campaigns. The platform works with brands in every step of social media engagement, starting with engaging with fans and ending with the measurement of sales and results. The company’s highly developed capabilities in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and machine learning provide context and understanding to social media marketing, better enabling brands to do what they do best. Sideqik’s customers include Coca-Cola, Home Depot, Logitech, Procter & Gamble, TV Guide, and Universal Studios.

Our product department is a multi-disciplinary team that works cross functionally with just about every team from engineering, to marketing, to customer success to deliver a unified customer experience.  We are looking for interns to support our product team in designing, building, and delivering products that align to Sideqik’s product vision and strategy.  Interns will have the opportunity to experience many different areas of the product lifecycle from conceptualization to launch including market and competitive research, customer interviews, requirements definition, usage analysis, user experience design and testing. We are looking for an intern who is curious about new technologies and loves to solve complex problems.

What You'll Do

  • Assist the product and engineering teams in development, testing, and launch of new products
  • Clearly articulate and present concepts to the larger product team and other stakeholders
  • Perform market, pricing and competitive research
  • Collect feedback from the sales team, customers and prospects
  • Identify, collect and analyze data to inform user experience decisions and shape future roadmap discussions 
  • Define requirements for new products and feature enhancements
  • Develop, implement and execute user acceptance test plans

What You'll Bring

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills 
  • Energetic team player that can work with minimal direction in startup environment
  • Relevant work experience or are working towards a degree in Business, Computer Science Industrial and Operations Engineering or similar degree program 
  • Based in Atlanta 
  • Must be a self-motivated, positive problem-solver
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to efficiently multi-task, with proficient organizational and time management skills
  • Must be organized, accountable and have careful attention to detail
  • Exposure to or understanding of delivering a consumer based online or software as a service (SaaS) experiences in a SCRUM / Agile environment
